Really not sure....they are pretty rare here in Hungary as far as I can tell. This one was in a back garden and the only other time I've ever seen one was on a bus....on the green handrail, I barely spotted it!

yes it is I think....about 9 -10cm-ish.

The first time i saw one I thought it had escaped from someone's terrarium!
I didn´t expect to find a big Mantis like this one in Europe. Very interesting.
