Walking Stick Cactus: Cylindropuntia spinosior
High Desert/Plains
Really neat Cactus seen all over South East Colorado. Also called the Cane Cholla cactus can grow 3-4' tall. Blooms are yellow to magenta and 3" wide. The ripe yellow fruits are edible.
