ASIAN PARADISE FLYCATCHER - WHITE MORPH

Terpsiphone paradisi

Description:

Migratory bird to Sri Lanka from India during the month of September. Extend his stay till May goes back to original destination for breeding. The female is rufous colored and the young one too are rufous coloured. Young male chicks take two to three years or bit more to become white as the full grown up adults like in the picture. The behavior is same as the native bird Terpsiphone paradisi ceylonensis.

Habitat:

Same as the Terpsiphone paradisi ceylonensis, but never built his nests here in Sri Lanka.
