This spotting on an ornamental croton shrub (Codiaeum variegatum) in a village yard (near disturbed lowland forest and sago swamp, and the Pacific Ocean).

We call them "Human Face" bugs as there is some resemblance of a human face if top-viewed with the head at the bottom to the abdomen at the top.
