Yes, right and those are just the described ones haha or maybe not but all the ones known. There are over twenty species in the United States. This one looks like a Mantis religiosa. There are many other species of the genus Mantis but I do not think they live there.
I'm not so sure Mr.Goldfish, there're about 2400 species of mantises..
