Description:

The greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus) is the most widespread species of the flamingo family. It is found in Africa, on the Indian subcontinent, in the Middle East and southern Europe.

Habitat:

Northwester coastal zone of Thermaikos Gulf between two river estuaries.

Excuse me Doreen! I didn't notice that this was a local mission. I removed many spottings from the mission (this was a time consuming task). I will also remove this and any other I added by mistake in this mission. Thank you.

Hi,

Would you please remove this Flamingo image from my mission, "Wildlife in fresh waters and wetland of NE." We do not have Flamingos here in the snow. Project Noah said they are upset I am letting people post to my mission. have a great day. Thanks.
