African Pied Wagtail

Description:

The African pied wagtail (Motacilla aguimp) is a species of bird in the Motacillidae family. Saw these little birds in many places in Uganda.

Habitat:

Open area in front of the Park entrance. Montane forest

Notes:

Kibale National Park (pronounced Chibale) is a national park in South Uganda protecting moist evergreen rain forest. It is 766 km² in size and is located between 1,100–1,600 meters in elevation.. The northern part of the park has the highest elevation. Kibale is one of the last remaining expanses to contain both lowland and montane forests. In East Africa, it sustains the last significant expanse of pre-montane forest.
