Brown Marmorated Stink Bug

Description:

Black and white banding on hind legs and white striped banding on the antennae. Has a "shield" like back for protection.

Habitat:

Originated in China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, but was accidentally introduced to the United States in 1988. Commonly found in fruit and tree plants, as well as in vegetation fields. They prefer the South of the United States because of its warmer climate.
