Killdeer

Charadrius vociferus

Description:

A little Killdeer chick not to far from both of its parents.

Habitat:

They levy area near the rice fields that created a lovely marshy area for the Killdeer family.

Notes:

Between the alligator garr (a fish) and actual alligators these birds were very anxious. (more than the killdeer normally are)
