Gambel's Quail

Description:

A quail that looks similar to the California quail, but their ranges do not overlap. The Gambel's quail lives mostly in the southwest US.

Habitat:

scrub oak and brushy area

Notes:

Currently there are about 30 in this covey that make daily jaunts thru the area.
