Thanks for all of the input! It doesn't appear to be a common Grackle from the photos but I don't know very much about birds :)

Also- it is hard to see but the tail looks to be a bit small for a common. Its a Grackle for sure ;)

I was vascillating between the two, but- they can be there (Ive seen them) and take a look at the eye. The great-tailed are a little yellower.

It seems unlikely to be Great-Tailed based on location, but it could be Boat-Tailed.
