Annona muricata

Description:

The genus Annona is a member of the Custard apple tree family. The species bears edible fruit, popular in southeast Asia and other places. A. muricata is native to the Caribbean and Central America but it is now widely cultivated in tropical climes throughout the world.

Habitat:

Large semi-urban yard/garden in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.

One of my favourite fruit. Makes a nice drink, as good as a lemonade drink in a stinking hot day :)
