Description:

Large ball type fungus that looks a lot like a meadow mushroom from the top.

Habitat:

Growing in grass.

Notes:

Can any one ID this for me? I'm interested to find out if it is edible! Photo #3 shows the under side.

Thanks Luc! It looks like they could be the mosaic puffball (Handkea utriformis) though I think I will do a little more research before I eat them for my supper!
