Handicapped Leaf-footed Stink Bug

Leptoglossus zonatus

Description:

She seemed really mesmerized by the sunset, too.

Notes:

This poor mother is missing a leg, and most likely carried on to find a high spot on an oleander plant to lay her eggs before finally taking rest; witnessing this sunset would add to one of the last things she saw during her few remaining moments on Earth. Inspirational.

I was viewing something like that Ashish! You did point me into the right direction; L. zonatus -- http://www.freshfromflorida.com/pi/enpp/...
What do you think?

@Ashish: Everything else about that species seems to be similar except for that it seems to lack the two yellow dots behind the head. It appears to resemble this: http://www.asergeev.com/pictures/archive...
Although they don't provide the species name.

Thank you Ashish!! Added some more pictures, SHE was still there in the morning (I say this because I found on another leaf a bunch of tiny red creatures that look a lot, if not exactly, like young leaf-footed stink bugs. Will provide that link soon).

I couldn't really find many details about the insect myself; it was too dark already and so was the specimen. One day, when fancy, pricey cameras begin to grow on trees, all our lives will be easier. :p

there is no details of the insect but the efect of the sun behind the creature made an excellent photo

Definitely, too bad it was too dark to spot any details on the creature though.
