Southern Pine Sphinx Moth

Description:

This moth was way up on the wall, but I had a feeling it was one I hadn't seen before. This is one of the smaller sphinx moths. Dark thorax with a lighter gray area. Grayish wings with distinctive black lines. Lifer! National Moth Week 2017.

Habitat:

Suburban. Attracted to an outdoor light overnight.
