Karen and 8bitFinch, I think you are both right! Thanks for your help in solving this one. There is another illusive little bird that I need help identifying, as soon as I can get a decent picture I will post that one. Thanks guys!

Thanks Karen, but does not look like the range of the Tufted titmouse reaches to California. Do you think it could be the Oak Titmouse?
