Description:

A tiny 2 mm yellow and orange fly. The larvae of these flies are Saprophytic and not much is known of their biology. The majority of species are tropical in distribution. Family Lauxaniidae.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
