Thanks Atul. it's amazing !!, All the changes that occur with the change in a season!. Fall has brought in so much more. unfortunately I am nursing a sore foot after all my summer hiking on top of Mt Diablo. Things are at a standstill :)
In the mean time I might as well fine tune my work. Do my write ups , Id's etc etc.
Long way to go in terms of photography. But am really enjoying the awesome spottings coming in on Project Noah.Nice to hear from U!!

@misako.hill i think it is Enallagma ebrium but not sure that site did not name this one. @Emma yes i discovered that when researching dragonflies a few months ago there are even some that have virtually the same phenotype genetics is used to mainly distinguish between them

wow--and I thought ladybug species were hard to ID!
I have an Enallagma that looks exactly like this photo: http://www.dragonfly-site.com/pictures-2... that @ hg_williams. It has the little black dot on the segments. What is the species name of that one?

@ hg_williams,
I think it is "Enallagma annexum"
http://fwp.mt.gov/mtoutdoors/HTML/articl...
Northern Bluet Damselfly
The color of the legs is not exactly white but it is not black either.
Waiting for your feedback.
Thnx
