Hi, textless, I'm so glad you like my pictures with bee eaters, is my favorite bird!:) I have very many pictures of these birds; is not a rare bird, but its habitat is particularly- makes its nest in the ground,dig galleries....Is a migratory bird; in Romania, coming just this species, Merops apiaster.

I found a colony on the bank of pond; there were nests... I go to visit many times I can :)
Bee eaters are my first mates during approach to trekking places..mostly in rural and semi forest habitats.
Cute pose... what a balance act with spreading his tail... Rare moment....!!
