Black-headed Weaver

Description:

The black-headed weaver (Ploceus melanocephalus), also known as the yellow-backed weaver, is a species of bird in the Ploceidae family.

Habitat:

Found in savanna and similar habitats, typically near water. This little Weaver bird was feeding on grass seeds growing beside the Nile River in NW Uganda.
