Cercopithecus ascanius
A gorgeous medium sized monkey with white cheeks and nose and a bright red tail. The red-tailed monkey, black-cheeked white-nosed monkey, red-tailed guenon, redtail monkey, or Schmidt's guenon (Cercopithecus ascanius) is a species of primate in the Cercopithecidae family.
Mainly found in the middle canopy of tropical rain forest habitats. But this one had come down lower, near the entrance to the park.
Kibale National Park (pronounced Chibale) is a national park in South Uganda protecting moist evergreen rain forest. It is 766 km² in size and is located between 1,100–1,600 meters in elevation.. The northern part of the park has the highest elevation. Kibale is one of the last remaining expanses to contain both lowland and montane forests. In East Africa, it sustains the last significant expanse of pre-montane forest.

And the white hairy heart on the end of its nose!
It is a lovely creature all around, I love those huge honey/brown eyes.
Gilma, this is one of my favourites... Love the way it's looking at me. And the hand is so like our hands.
It is so gorgeous, thank you for sharing, Pam.
