Geometrid Moth - male

Syneora fractata

Description:

This pale geometrid had a wing span of about 20 mm. A smudged dark line ran across all four wings with each forewing showing a dark speck just below the line. All four wings showed a transverse thin wavy line running though from just anterior to the fore wing apices. The thorax had a low profile ridge along the mid line.
Antennae were feathery - male

Habitat:

Spotted in a nature reserve with mixed natives.
