Barred owl

Description:

Smaller owl with a round face, no tufts, barred wings.

Habitat:

swampy area near a lake, lots of trees.

Notes:

The pair are usually somewhat close together, they hunt smaller rodents like mice but a few fair sized rabbits and squirrels as well, possibly small cats. They respond if you immitate their call.
