caterpillar

Description:

Light tan with bristles and flat padded feet.

Habitat:

Overgrown shrubby field bog. This area was a WW II munitions depot and scrap iron trash dump that was bulldozed some time after the war.

Notes:

This determined caterpillar was being flung about by shifting, gusty winds. The wind held steady just long enough for its close-up portrait. South of Market Street
