Description:

The Birdwing butterfly , Trogonoptera brookiana , was named by the naturalist , Alfred R. Wallace in 1885 , after the white Rajah of Sarawak Borneo , " James Brooke ". The male Birdwing butterfly has seven bright green , teeth shaped markings on each of its black wings.
