A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
A Hygropoda sp. (Pisaurid), still an unidentified species. A male. It's legs, pedipalps and abdomen is long. Size: 8mm (forehead to tail tip), 47mm from back leg's tip to the tip of it's front leg. It's abdomen color is a mixture of light brown and orange. There are 2 shallow holes on it's abdomen. It is not moving when I took photographs of it.
Above soil surfaces (wikipedia) I found it on this leaf of a low plant in the forest of Poring Hot Springs, Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia.
I found this spider when I was jungle trekking in the forest of Ranau Hot Spring Park. >>>Map accuracy : 1km radius.
