Striking Brown Scarab with a black head and black markings on the Elytra. The under body hair is sparse and bristly. About 2 cm long. Family Scarabaeidae.
Came to an ultraviolet light set up along the highway on a cliff between San Cristobal and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 18.5, 1164 meters.
