Doleschallia bisaltide
The dead leaf butterfly is exactly as what it is called when i first spotted it. All brown and rustic looks , with no movement at all , until a person takes a closer look at it.The wings takes the shape and colors of a dried up single leaf of about 1.5 inches in length and maybe about 3 inches in wing span.Shades of light brown and grey with spots of light grey and complete with the inner markings of a dried, dead leaf.
Spotted it among some ginger plants beside the golf course on Fraser Hill, Malaysia. http://www.learnaboutbutterflies.com/Mal...
