Nezara viridula
Las ninfas pasan por cinco estadíos que se diferencian entre sí por la variación del color y el tamaño, pasando a medir de algo más de 1 mm cuando son neonatas hasta los 12 mm en el último estadío. Todos los estadíos miden casi lo mismo de ancho que de largo. Las ninfas del primer estadío son de color rojo y al eclosionar no se dispersan, sino que permanecen reunidas sobre la masa de huevos durante 48 horas o más. Durante este tiempo su color se oscurece hasta marrón rojizo.
