A Tmarus Crab Spider. Female. It's abdomen has a mixture of colours, including maroon, white, dark green..... It's eye pattern is made up of 2 rows, 4 eyes up, 4 down. It's head is greenish except for around the eyes. It's legs are spotted black. This is the eye arrangement of a Tmarus spider except that the eye size varies among Tmarus species.
Forest of Kinabalu National Park, Kundasang, Sabah, Malaysia.
This is the first time I've photograph a Tmarus Spider of the Thomisidae family. And one of my earliest successful attempt on photographing a spider's eyes. A crab spider that I have never seen elsewhere, this is the first time I have seen this species. It wasn't moving the slightest bit when I spotted it so I took the advantage to put my camera near for close-up photography. It should have realized my presence but it did not make the slightest move to escape. >>>Map accuracy : 400m diameter.

Yes, knowing their eye patterns can make identification faster.
Very nice photos...I guess I need to do some research on the way spiders use all those eyes.
