Description:

Small, clear snail egg masses found on the underside of a rock in a shallow seasonal stream. Small circular shapes apparent within the larger mass, but nothing looked differentiated beyond that.

Habitat:

Seasonal stream in mixed hardwood forest. Near Jackson Falls, Shawnee National Park, IL.

very cool,i have many snail's in my backyard,but never see these formations,i'll look better under the rock's i have,i spot various slug eggs,but snail never

Looks like snail eggs to me too

most likely from a local snail.
