You could have fooled me about being an entomologist with all of the insect IDs you've given me! Ecdysis is just the process of shedding, and species epithet refers to the species name, smaragdina in this case. Thanks again for all your IDs! I admit that I will be posting more insects I don't quite know the species of soon...
