Livingstone's Turaco (Tauraco livingstonii)
This bird was in a kind of bird sanctuary near the airport of Kobe Japan. I believe this species is found in Africa, but it is not native to Japan.
The shape and colors are both amazing!
Awesome love the color so much green it's beautiful.
Beautiful series and bird!

Very kind of you to say. Thanks so much!
Beautiful series of pictures great find! :)
@auntnance, the white hairstyle is what tipped the scale for me, but never would have got it without your links--thanks again!
Yes a much better choice, rpsonak3 I was second-guessing as soon as I posted the ID. Glad the link helped.
Beautiful. Like the colors.
Thanks for the help. I think based on the links you sent & some other pics of same bird I took it is the Livingstone's Turaco (Tauraco livingstonii), which appears to be native to Africa so must have been brought to this sanctuary by humans. thanks!
I think I picked the right one, but you can double-check here: http://www.camacdonald.com/birding/Sampl...Such a beautiful group of birds!
