A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
I have added the museums website reference, clicking on the "Como visitarnos" will show contact details and opening times. If you phone the staff speak Spanish, Valenciano and English and I think one also speaks French possibly.
Recently discovered fossilised footprints in ancient rock in the Valencian mountains.
Category not yet determined, mammals or lizards? After a lot of thought I decided these are probably covered by the "Signs of wildlife" mission.

Awesome Find Malcolm!!
Thats fantastic! Thank you for the post and for the info.
An excavation site which has been opened for public viewing. It is run by the Alpuente Museum of Paleontology, in the north-west of Comunidad Valenciana. The exact location is pinpointed on the map. There is a car park on the south side of the road. Guided tours are available or you can visit by yourself. The museum is well worth a visit also. I will find a link to their website.
Very cool! I know you said "details later," but are these taken at a excavation site?
