This Kestrel is fighting with the family of crows to fill the nest... because of this, the bird missed the landing... In some countries, this bird is protected by law; because of habitat loss and pesticide use in agriculture, their number is more small.

The last picture is really fantastic Doina! You can still have it as your first picture: if you go into Edit this spotting, you can reorganize pictures by dragging them across.

Stunning photos! There are many Kestrels living in the downtown core of Toronto - where I live. It's bittersweet to spot them on top of tall buildings in the city.
