Description:

This photo is of one plant. The main stem is about 5 inches across. There are two leaves at each leaf point. The lives are about 6" long and 2" across at the widest point. This plant is located next t a riverbed with large primary forest size trees.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica, end of rainy season
