Spotting

Description:

These were scattered in the duff under the ferns. They are very dry, brownish top with a pore underside, no gills. No veil, nothing on stem (no reticulation or scabers, etc). Snow white and smooth stem with very tight pores under cap. They smell like a grocery store "button mushroom".

Habitat:

Coastal mountain range, conifer forest, under ferns
