Nephila pilipes jalorensis

Description:

Nephila pilipes is a species of golden orb-web spider. It is commonly found in primary and secondary forests and gardens. Females are large and grow to a body size of 30-50mm, with males growing to 5–6 mm.

Notes:

the spider was found along the road side vegetations running through thick forests. the spider was really big (check pic2) and so was his webs.

Actually this is Indian subspecie
Nephila pilipes jalorensis
