Mid-October and still surprised to find a Monarch in the meadow. Most have already migrated. A beautiful female, from the distance and then close up.

Habitat:

Meadow in the Poconos

Notes:

Migration for our area of the USA is usually Around Sept. 14 and no later than Oct. 6.
