Goniobranchus verrieri

Goniobranchus verrieri

Description:

Also known as Verrier's Chromodoris; formerly referred to as Chromodoris verrieri. Found singly or in pairs, feeding on hydroids, coral, sponges and anemones. This type of nudibranch grows to about 2cm in length.

Habitat:

Coral and rocky reefs amongst sand and rubble areas. Found widespread in the Indo-Pacific region.

Notes:

Despite its diminutive size (it was a centimeter long, if I remember right), this cute white-and-orange nudibranch moved quite fast. Photographed it at a depth of about 10m.
