Description:

Ifound this awesome, red slime mold growing on rotting wood in a mostly deciduous forest. It was tiny - each fruiting body was 0.5-2 mm tall and cylindrical in shape. They were growing in clusters. When I touched them, they collapsed to dust.

Habitat:

Growing on rotting wood in a deciduous forest.
