Pionus menstruus
They eat fruit and seeds, and sometimes grain. They roost communally in palm and other trees, and large numbers can be seen at the roost sites at dawn and dusk.
Its habitat is forest and semi-open country, including cultivated areas in tropical and subtropical South America and southern Central America, from Costa Rica, Venezuela and Trinidad south to Bolivia and Brazil.
Spotted them this morning.

Its an Amazonian parrot. According to IUCN Red List is native to: Bolivia; Brazil; Colombia; Costa Rica; Ecuador; French Guiana; Guyana; Panama; Peru; Suriname; Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela.
I didn't know I have this parrot in my neighborhood, I knew about them because you see people having them as pets or captive in the zoo.

I have never seen this specie in Panama. Is this endemic on Comobia?
