Description:

A large trout that matures at sea and goes upriver to spawn like salmon. Their flesh is pale pink.This was taken at a "fish trap" spawning station maintained by OFWD

Habitat:

Steelhead "run" heading upriver to spawn during the rainy season

Notes:

They were terribly impatient at being confined and were trying to jump the grate
