Reef Octopus

Octopus vulgaris

Description:

Also know as Common Reef Octopus and Small Common Octopus. They can change color to match their surroundings. They feed on bivalves, fish, shrimp, crabs and other octopus.

Habitat:

Found singly on coral and rocky reefs, seagrass beds, sand and rubble areas.

Notes:

Photographed this octopus during a night dive. I think it was hunting when we chanced upon it.

Look at the back of the Octopus in this picture, the GREEN color make it stands out, i think that is what Leuba means Blogie.
