Description:

Large brownish spider, seen under its web - to me looks like one of funnel spiders...

Habitat:

Taken in our compound ini Kebri Dehar, a town in Ogaden; part of Somali Region in Ethiopia. Lowland and desert around the town.

Notes:

Since long time, I'm trying to organise my photo archives (I firmly believe that I'm almost at the end at least of my last century archives... or getting there soon... ) - but some very old gems keep popping out... At first, because of the poor quality of shots; I hesitated to upload them - then decided to upload anyway, thinking that I may not have another opportunity to see these beauties in their habitats...
