Black-tailed Rattlesnake

Crotalus molossus

Description:

Bright yellow with black diamonds down the back. The area in front of the rattle is black, that's where the name comes from. This is a pretty variable species, and I love how contrasty this guy is, he was very pretty! They are also known for being quite docile.

Habitat:

Sitting at the base of a boulder on the side of the road leading to the top of a mountain.
