Description:

Habitat:

Attracted to the porch light in the backyard.

there were many more. Just could not get them all in one pic! I would have liked to explore the dried up kern River bed .Just to think that there was a river there once! Takes a while to get familiar with unknown places. By the time you start getting comfortable,it is time to return home.

Look at the amount of Ant Lions pits in Bakersfield. A place with abundance of frogs,crickets,skunks and kit foxes. Did not manage to get a pic of the foxes though.
