Hi Jae, I fully agree with your suggestion of this being L. vulgaris! I guess I was just in a rush while identifying this plant.

Hello TravelingFamily, great spottings.
I think though this is Linaria vulgaris also called the yellow toadflax. The two herbs look a alike but the yellow toadflex is smaller and has narrow linear leaves, while the Dalmatian toadflax has wide, clasping, heart-shaped leaves. Also if I'm not mistaking the flowers in your photos are orange with yellow. Another common name for Linaria vulgaris is Butter-and-eggs and comes from its flowers which have orange (egg yolk) with yellow (butter) colors. Maybe this link might be of help:
