5mm pink, orange, white heavily dotted rounded beetle sometimes with pale dark bluish inner patterns - lays interesting eggs which resemble a bottlebrush flower wrapped around a eucalyptus leaf stem

Eggs and larvae very rapid development... see pic 6 later instar Predators often seen at egg sites... Also see (?sp.) which was possibly predating this beetle

Thanks all. These guys are everywhere at the moment along with lots of similar eggs and critters. We're having fun trying to work out what's chasing what and what belongs to what. It's getting complicated !!
Great series. I'm quite fond of our leaf beetles, even if their larvae can be a bit rapacious.

The pictures are NOT about different species Juan. The eggs and larvae are all from the same species as described.
