Toxotes jacultrix
found this species in Barito Kuala Region of South Kalimantan, Indonesia. Mostly found in brackish water area but sometimes it is possible to be found them in a river 100 km away from sea. they can spit water to their prey (mostly insects), or jump out from water to catch the prey.
juvenille often being spotted in brackish water area, where as the adults more likely to be found in freshwater (river).
